Perhaps one of the best things about the Gospel of Christ is the assurance that "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
Religion says "Stop sinning so you can be forgiven."
Christ came to show "You are forgiven, so stop sinning."
Religion warns "You will get the punishment you deserve"
Christ has shown "I will give you the grace you do not deserve"
Religion offers "unrelentless heaps of humiliation"
Christ offers "unconditional oceans of love"
Religion condemns.
Christ cleanses!
No matter where you have been, what you have done, or how badly others tell you that you have messed up - look to Christ who offers new hope, new life and freedom from condemnation - right now! Today hear the love behind Chirst's words to a woman caught in adultery and condemned to death: "I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more." John 8:11
